Seoul Sausage Company is thinking big after opening a brick & mortar on Sawtelle. The winner of Season 3 of the Great Food Truck Race has landed in the new AVA building in Little Tokyo with intentions to build a full restaurant offering liquor, beer, and soju. It's a huge win for Little Tokyo and Downtown as a whole, which already has a dense cluster of compelling places to eat.

Founders Yong and Ted Kim, plus founding chef Chris Oh are behind this project, which is slated to open some time in June as construction commences this month. The dynamic trio has wanted a project where they could serve beer along with their celebrated Korean-style sausages and kimchi-filled rice balls. The interior will hold about 45 people while the patio will hold a little fewer than that, adding plenty of space for Little Tokyo denizens.
