This makes the third outlet for the specialty coffee chainlet.

An all-day coffee shop's been sorely needed in Palms, and Coffee Commissary, which tends to pinpoint locations that are lacking, is almost ready to open in a new residential development along Motor Avenue in Palms. Projected debut should be either this week or next or things go well.

Everything inside's been set up for a few weeks, though it looks like final health inspections haven't gone through. A peek inside shows they'll be serving a program based on Four Barrel Coffee, though Commissary is pretty good about rotating other good roasters from around the country. There will be both inside and outdoor seating, with plenty of room for laptop warriors and people who just want a good cup of joe in the area.
