Google and other tech companies are well on their way to making Playa Vista the next Silicon Valley (or adding to the current moniker of Silicon Beach), so some more compelling food options are going to come in tow. Toddrickallen reports that LYFE Kitchen has posted a 41 license at The Runway to serve beer & wine along with their healthy, if a little innocuous, fast-casual fare.

In addition, Century Theatres is applying for a full on 47 license at The Runway, which would grant it the right to serve cocktails and more. Since it's a 47, that means that a more complete food program may be in the works, instead of the usual hot dog and popcorn affair. While the likes of Alamo Drafthouse and iPic try to blaze the trail of dinner and a movie at one location, Century seems to be joining the fray.
