Descend Into The Moose Den, A Friendly Neighborhood Pub in Glendale

Glendale has a new spot to watch sports and sip on brews.

Glendale is quickly becoming one of the most fun places to drink in town, with approachable bars like Neat and The Famous, to craft beer havens like Glendale Tap. The Moose Den follows the formula of the latter, with a full spread of TVs to enjoy sports, and even an impressive lineup of dart boards to help kill time if the Lakers aren't on (well, at this point it's whether the Clippers are on).

Soft opened back in late 2014, The Moose Den is finally ready for its official debut a few months later. As for cocktails, there are predictable drinks like a Rusty Nail, Grasshopper, and Horse's Neck, though something as terrible as Sex on the Beach shows up as well. Glendale is still a few years from modernity, it seems. As for fare, think mac & cheese, pretzels, fries, chicken sandwiches, and sausages galore. Basically the kind of dishes you want to have with beer and sports.

The Moose Den provides a necessary escape from the populist confines of Americana at Brand, which is right across the street. Nestled underneath The Famous, it's also swell find for the budding yuppy population inhabiting all those fancy new apartments along Brand Blvd.
