Mar Vista Cooling Down With Sweet Lucie’s Ice Cream Shop This Spring

Sweet Lucie's, the super premium and organic ice cream pints found in Whole Foods freezer aisles, will open its first brick and mortar this spring in Mar Vista. Owner Geri Czako made the first USDA Organic certified ice cream in SoCal, which satiated her ice cream craving while pregnant with her daughter, Lucie. Additionally, Sweet Lucie's delicious old-fashioned ice creams and sorbets are all made by hand.

Besides at private catering events and farmer's markets, Sweet Lucie's ice cream can be found in its remodeled, 1959 vintage ice cream truck around town. With all natural ingredients, ice cream lovers can find classic flavors like Butter Pecan, Chocolate and Vanilla Bean. The more adventurous types can choose from Blueberry Pie, Black Sesame Milk Tea, Earl Grey, or Pistachio with Truffle Honey Caramel swirl. More on Sweet Lucie's menu can be found here.
