DOWNTOWN— Patina is offering special black truffle tasting menus to kick off the year beginning January 2 and ending mid-February. $135 gets one a three course menu while $210 gets five full truffle courses.

HIGHLAND PARK— The Greyhound is celebrating their one year anniversary on January 16 with crazy rare craft beers from breweries around the country, plus free wings. FREE WINGS, people.

WESTWOOD— Necco has some new menu items ready to release this month that include some meat and fish options, though the mostly vegetarian options from chef Kenji Koyama might be some of the most creative "healthy" fare in the city right now. Anyone keeping to healthy New Year's resolutions but wanting some more tasty options should hit this Westwood gem.
