BURBANK—Olive & Thyme has launched a new dinner (which can be seen in full below) from chefs Joe Marco and Dennis Sandoval. Though the menu will change every few months, the Burbank eatery will offer everything from grilled hangar steak and patatas bravas to roasted half chicken and bucatini bolognese for a nice casual weekday dinner.
ALHAMBRA—Grill 'Em All is bringing back some of their greatest hit burgers starting February 1. Think the Leviathan aka Shark Boy, a classic patty melt made with beer-soaked onions, both Swiss and American cheese, sandwiched between a tuna melt.
SANTA MONICA— The Independence, which took over the former Buddha's Belly near Third Street Promenade, is close to opening. The opening is currently set for January 27, with a cocktail list from Vicenzo Marianella and fare by chef Tom Block.
