Last year, a Brazilian barbecue joint called Copacabana opened in Hermosa Beach, signaling a greater interest in the cuisine down in South Bay. Last week, a new spot in Manhattan Beach debuted called Brazucatouting everything from coxinha and pastel to grilled picanha steak sandwiches with grilled onions.

For something a bit heftier and traditional, there are a slew of grilled meat plates from frango grelhado, grilled fish, and even chicken stroganoff. Finally, skewers round of the menu, including bacon wrapped chicken breast and yet more picanha (traditionally fat-bound sirloin).

Brazuca also has sweets to take away, including the sugar-bomb brigadeiro, pudim (flan), and passionfruit mousse. Or for something on the healthy side, they're offering smoothies and acai bowls. Open 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily, except 8 p.m. on Sundays.
