MALIBU— Malibu Pier Restaurant & Bar is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays during the winter, but that doesn't mean they're out of commission the other days of the week. Chef Jason Fullilove is throwing a paella party on Thursdays for $25 per person (and $12 for kids), along with Spanish wines by the glass. The paella is loaded up with rice, saffron, chorizo, jidori chicken thighs, clams, mussels, and prawns.

AROUND TOWN— Check out this rather hilarious video with Erin Foster from Pressed Juicery, where "obnoxious" juicers complain or rant about all things pressed juice in Los Angeles. But just in case you're still interested (and it's that time of year), you can get a three-day juice cleanse package for $149.

KOREATOWN— Fatburger has opened a new location in Koreatown on the corner of Vermont and Wilshire. It's open 10 a.m. to 2 a.m. (perfect for those wanting some late night in the area that doesn't involve Korean food), and Sundays until 12 a.m.
