Genesis Pushes Back Opening Date, Pops Up at Golden Box This Saturday

Those eagerly anticipating the opening of Jeremy Fall's Genesis will have to wait just a little longer. The attic pop-up turned full-time brick-and-mortar lounge was scheduled to open today on the second floor of 6356 Hollywood Boulevard, elevator photo booth and all, but has been pushed back to an unannounced later date.

In the meantime, nightlife lovers can get their fix at Golden Box this Saturday, October 3, when Genesis will preview its weekly "Vs." concept that battles two big artists against each other and mashes up their music. Genesis' final pop-up will pit the music of Kanye vs that of Drake.

Unfortunately, you'll have to wait to try Chris Oh's version of drunken munchies that come by way of Nomad Kitchen, housed in the upcoming Genesis space.
