Burbank continues to snatch up fast casual concepts, including the inbound arrival of Yalla Mediterranean. First announced back in September, the Bay Area option is now just about ready to serve the Southern California dining public, with an opening scheduled for tomorrow.
Located right in the thick of it all at the Burbank Empire Center and with an interior brought to life by way of Innovation & Design in Architecture, the easygoing option features some taller communal tabletop seating, as well as a handful of colorful two- and four-tops situated both inside the dining area and out on an open patio.
Menu-wise, Yalla is meant to bring customizable Mediterranean fare to the masses, in a format that lands somewhere between local favorite Gaby’s and the ever-popular Chipotle model. There’s falafel and skewers and shawarma on offer, each available as a wrap, chopped salad, or plate. Experience the full Burbank menu here.
Yalla Mediterranean opens on Tuesday, October 20, at 11 a.m., with daily hours running from 11 a.m. until evening. A second Southern California location, opening in Culver City, should be ready by late December.
