Trois Familia heats up

The Times has more details on the upcoming Trois Familia in Silver Lake, noting that the brunch-heavy place will be whipping up loads of egg dishes every single day (not just on weekends), in addition to crepes, coffee, ceviches, and tortas. The whole thing should arrive next week.

Developers in Hollywood?!

Who'da thought? The quickly hippifying neighborhood is getting access to loads more mixed-use retail and restaurant space at both the west and east ends, but now comes word that the iconic Crossroads of the World complex on Sunset is due for a large makeover as well. UrbanizeLA has details, which include room across the eight-acre parcel for lots of possible restaurants. Plus, the whole thing sits just steps away from Curtis Stone's upcoming second restaurant, also on Sunset.

Jeremy Fall boozes up brunch in Hollywood

Nightlife impresario Jeremy Fall is adding Sadie Kitchen & Lounge to his resume — at least for brunch. Beginning on October 25 and running every Sunday afterwards, Fall will be partnering up with the Hollywood eatery for a boozy brunch that includes bottomless mimosas ($14), shared punch bowls, and food options like a breakfast banh mi.

The rehab of one of L.A.'s great event venue spaces continues as Inglewood's The Forum adds food options for local beloved sandwich-maker Orleans & York. The popular po' boy slingers will be doing their thing starting later this year.
