Cocktail Maestro Julian Cox Opening The Fiscal Agent October 21

Barman Julian Cox has had his hand in the creation of many of the best cocktail programs that span the city. His work on last year's buzziest opening, Barrel & Ashes, was a true boon for Studio City, delivering fantastic barbecue-friendly libations to a sometimes underrepresented part of town.

Well the Valley just scored another big win with Cox's upcoming lounge The Fiscal Agent. Not much is known about the concept at this time, beyond the fact that bites will come by way of Barrel & Ashes (and soon-to-open Otium) executive chef Timothy Hollingsworth.

The Fiscal Agent will be situated directly above Studio City's finest barbecue joint, with the entrance through a side corridor. A sneak peek at the interior shows a dimly lit, moody vibe that should focus attention on what will surely be some great things happening behind the bar.

The Fiscal Agent is scheduled to open October 21, with opening hours Wednesday through Saturday from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m.
