Very quietly, Otium, the highly anticipated restaurant next to the Broad Museum in Downtown's Bunker Hill, has been serving some delicious daytime bites from a kiosk out front. Dubbed Otium On the Go, the operation started around last week, with hours from Tuesday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., which is prime time for musuem goers and local office workers.
Hollingsworth has put together a few composed plates with tri-tip and habanero onions, or roasted pork with kohlrabi stew for just $9.50, along with pastries like cinnamon roll, blueberry muffin, and pumpkin ginger cookie for a few bucks apiece. Throw in drinks and coffee, and you have the perfect pre- or post-museum snack.
The menu, which is listed in full below will expand over the next few weeks, and offers an approachable way to try out Otium before it goes full bore early next month. The kiosk itself, in case you can't find it, is located in the plaza next to the Broad Museum in front of the parking lot elevators.
