2015 was no doubt the year of poke in Los Angeles, with fast casual raw fish specialists popping up all over town. The next entrant to the saturated market is Blue Poke and Bar at 141 S Central Ave in Little Tokyo in the old Kaba space.

Still under the same ownership as the previous concept, Blue Poke is much in the same vain as other customizable poke restaurants around town: customers can choose from a selection of fish and pick their own dressing, like shoyu or creamy spicy.

In homage to the former tenant, there's also an izakaya menu with dishes like fried soft shell crab and Ahi steak, along with stellar happy hour deals.

Blue Poke and Bar is open from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and until 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday.
