Koreatown's Ambitious Seafood Spot The Fresh Is Already Closed Down

The Fresh, a trendy seafood and sushi spot that opened inside a bustling Koreatown strip mall a few months ago, has already shut down, according to Yelpers and tipsters. Despite an August debut and plenty of solid reviews from Yelp, the place couldn't survive. Perhaps it was the concept, which was part seafood spot, part sushi bar, part Korean do-it-all. Either way, it leaves a prime location with some good bones in the heart of Koreatown up for grabs.
