Superba Food + Bread had a bit of a rough year, with more staff shuffles than anyone could keep up with. Hopefully it'll be smooth sailing for Paul Hibler's all-day eatery, as the concept's second location will open next week in El Segundo's fancy The Point complex with an expansive 3,500 square foot space.
Just like the Venice location, Superba Food + Bread El Segundo will offer 22 breakfast pastries that come by way of executive pastry chef Carlos Enriquez, and approachable all-day fare by executive chef James Trees. However, the game changer here is a full bar.
Crafted by Red Medicine alum Johan Stein, the restaurant's offerings will include draft cocktails like beet mimosas, Superba mojitos, and house-made bourbon cream soda. There's also a daily happy hour with half-off cocktails and snacks to boot. Not a bad way to wind down after a hard day of shopping.
Superba Food + Bread will open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday through Sunday. Daily happy hour runs from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
