Endorffeine gets the LA Downtowner treatment

Playa Provisions is having a snow day

Yep, a real snow day, using (presumably) fake snow. It's going down Saturday, December 19 and will cost just $5 for adults, because the kids are free a few bucks for kids and adults alike. You'll need to pay for food and drink while you're hanging out (limited menu below), but still.

Free pizza in Glendale next week

Their grand opening, however, is actually on Thursday, December 17, when they’ll be hosting a benefit called Pizzas with  Purpose, aimed at combating homelessness. You can also register here to try to win free pizza for a year, if you’re so inclined.

Some serious smoking in La Quinta

Head out to the desert on Saturday if you’d like your fill of smoked meat, as some of the best competition barbecuers will be doling out plates at the fourth annual King of the Smoker at La Quinta Resort & Club. There’s a full $50,000 in purse money for the teams competing, while $20 tickets get general admission access to loads of the leftovers.
