Though it took a while to come together, Hollywood's Gardner Junction has managed to almost immediately anchor the western edges of the neighborhood now that it's here. Offering a mix of stylish interior and ambitious cooking, the new restaurant from chef Steve Brown (formerly of Monsieur Marcel) and the Spacecraft team seems ready to stick around for a while.
Here then are two quick minutes following Brown through the market as he nabs some strawberries and assorted vegetables, followed by an uninterrupted flurry of food porn shots with all the usual stylings — plate smears, stacked ingredients, you name it.
Bonus points for using the blowtorch to finish an ear of corn.
