Stir Market Goes Counter Service Only While Quietly Changing Chef

There have been three different executive chefs in the past year.

Stir Market, the European-style food hall in the old Buddha's Belly space known for its highly Instagrammable avocado toast and exceptional Meyer lemon pancakes will be switching to counter service only starting December 17.

Although the restaurant was already counter service at lunch and brunch, full table service was offered at dinner. This cost cutting measure comes alongside news that the eatery quietly shuffled chefs for the second time, replacing Stacy Rampton with Breck Lewrence, Stir Market's third chef in its first year of operation.

While it's not a major change, the loss of full service at dinner does affect the tips potential for servers working the floor as counter service gratuities tend to be less than full service tips.
