The Halal Guys Hit LA County With January Launch in Long Beach

Not a moment too soon.

It’s been known for some time now that The Halal Guys have plans for global dominance, expanding their chicken and rice concept from Midtown Manhattan to Costa Mesa and beyond. Next stop: Long Beach.

Their upcoming L.A. County address should be a boon for diehards currently braving the drive (and the lines) to the Costa Mesa outpost; that expansion spot has been absolutely crushed with customers since opening in the fall. Their Long Beach location is likely in for the same fate, as the strip mall space already has fans prepped with some COMING SOON paper hanging in the windows.

Apparently the wait could soon be over in as little as three weeks, as rumor has it the official opening for Halal Guys Long Beach is slated for January 2.

If you’re not familiar with the Halal Guys brand, here’s a nice breakdown of what they’re up to, and how these West Coast operations compare with the original. With their L.A.-adjacent location and mass appeal, there’s a good chance you’ll have plenty of time to read that primer while waiting in an hours-long line in Long Beach come early January.
