Tar & Roses Pegs January 8 For Santa Monica Reopening

Looks like Tar & Roses is finally (officially) coming back, with news today that the Santa Monica favorite is targeting a January 8 reopening.

If you check their website, that Friday is the first available date for snagging a table, beginning at 6 p.m. There are plenty of seats available at the moment, too, so if you’d like to be among the first to re-experience one of the Westside’s favorite haunts, better jump on Reserve now.

Don’t expect too much fanfare on opening night, however. According to reports, the menu remains unchanged since the restaurant shuttered due to a fire earlier this year, and the interior has simply been remade in its own original image. Still, it’s a welcome return for Andrew Kirschner and his elevated brand of seasonal eating.
