Avec Nous is almost ready for its close-up in Beverly Hills. The upscale hotel operation will sit adjacent to the ritzy L’Ermitage, and takes over the former Livello restaurant, which had been in operation since 2011.
The redone space will carry more of an airy Riviera bistro feel than its sometimes stuffier predecessor, but without losing the attention to detail found in the admittedly upscale food. Chef Olivier Quignon is on board (late of Bar Boulud in New York), and will be working a variety of classics like côte de bœuf and Nicoise salads, says the LA Times. Cocktails come by way of Alex Bachman, from Chicago.
This being Beverly Hills, there will also be private dining space inside the restaurant, including a glass wine cellar. Tableside preparations will also be on offer.
Look for Avec Nous to open sometime in early 2016.
