Jeremy Fall's well-received nightlife pop-up Genesis ended its run above Sassafras about a month ago, and today the impresario announces Genesis' new home on the second floor of 6356 Hollywood Boulevard in the (legendary) old Cinespace and Paul & Andre spot.
Expect to see Genesis's vintage attic aesthetic taken to a whole new level at Genesis 2.0. The whimsical décor will include larger-scale pieces like chandeliers, mirrors, and portraits. As for music, tunes will remain in the top 40, hip hop, and throwback vein, and steer pretty clear of the EDM beats that rule the boulevard.
Fall expects to open sometime next month. Eagerly awaiting nightlife junkies can pass the time at sister bars Golden Box in Hollywood and King Eddy Saloon Downtown.
