Gravite’, A Healthy Diner's Dream Come True on Sunset Strip

And you don’t have to be vegetarian/vegan/paleo to enjoy it.

West Hollywood locals have been quick to embrace the newest addition to the Sunset Strip, Gravite'. Maysa Salami purchased the old Ambrosia spot six months ago, and used her architecture background to transform the dark space into a brighter, more open environment. Gravite' sports a healthy teahouse concept that has options for vegetarians, vegans, paleo dieters, and regular ol' omnivores.

The menu is largely salad and sandwich based, with the Curry Chicken Salad with turmeric and yogurt, Gravite' Salad with seeds and avocado, and baked omelets being early favorites. Salami doesn't use salt (although it is available to add) or white sugar, and refuses to fry anything.

Gravite' also has an afternoon tea menu in the works, and currently serves a curated selection of organic La Colombe coffee and organic Boulder Teahouse tea that is brewed to order.

The teahouse soft opened last week, and plans to have a grand opening in March. Its current hours are Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
