It looks like Jon & Vinny’s is still inching its way to opening. The multi-hyphenate Fairfax space from Shook and Dotolo (of Animal, Son of a Gun, and Trois Mec fame, of course) is the most anticipated opening of 2015, and was initially believed to be turning on the lights sometime this month. However, a new post on the Animal Facebook page seems to indicate an arrival later in Spring, while simultaneously dishing on a few more key details.

As is already known, the former Damiano Pizza shuttered to make way for a shared space that will include offices, room for catering and approachable food from the dynamic duo. There’s also a wine shop run by Helen Johannessen, which will apparently be called simply Helen’s (in fitting with the first name theme). the restaurant, Jon & Vinny’s, is set to offer an approachable Italian menu, and will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner daily, with a farmers market bent. Delivery is happening too, with the option to buy wine and get it delivered right to your doorstep.

And the reason for the Jon & Vinny's post in the first place? They’re looking for a General Manager to come on board, taking the reins and working with Johannessen on the wine program as well. If you’re the right candidate for the job, send over a resume. Better jump fast: they’re opening soon.
