The Hotel Normandie, just a block away from The Line Hotel, is adding one more important nightlife facet to Koreatown: a landmark cocktail den called The Normandie Club from drinks experts Proprietors, LLC and 213 Hospitality (neé Nightlife).

Soft open since last week, this swanky room showcases some of the best in cocktail creation that LA is going to see this year. With The Varnish veteran Daniel Eun helming the main operation, the expansive bar marries the best of Koreatown's urbane sensibilities with its frenetic pace.

The base menu pits seven categories of classic drinks, from the Manhattan and Martini to Old Fashioned and Spritz. As a Proprietors, LLC trademark, there's also two draft cocktail lines plus a cutting edge seltzer system that's also inside Honeycut, which means bubbly drinks will be quite effervescent.

In addition to cocktails, The Normandie Club is offering craft beers, ciders (the next up and coming fermented booze), wine, and spirits. The thing to really take away here is that The Normandie Club is essentially a more spacious den version of The Varnish, except plopped right into the heart of Koreatown. Booze hounds, cocktailains, and those seeking refined beverages in this bustling corridor should be exultant.

Open daily from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m.
