Roll Into Knuckle & Claw, a New England Sandwich Spot for the Lobster-Obsessed

Homesick New Englanders can their ideal lobster roll fix right in Silver Lake.

Welcome Knuckle & Claw into Silver Lake beginning March 1, a clean and sparkling new sandwich shop specializing in New England-style lobster rolls. Founded by Chloe Dahl and Nikki Booth, it's inspired by Dahl's summers in Martha's Vineyard (plus a passion for seafood from Booth's time spent living in Hawaii).

In addition to a top-flight lobster roll (with less lobsters coming straight from Maine in less than 24 hours), which will anchor the menu, expect a shrimp roll, lobster pot pie, crab roll, lobster bisque, and clam chowder, because this will be the perfect place for home-sick New Englanders to get a taste of the Northeast here in sunny Los Angeles. For something sweet, think whoopie pie chocolate bars.

The lovely design comes via Office 42, which focuses on subway tile, butcher's block counters, and white marble slabs as accents. To drink, sip on Fentimen's sodas, or even an array of beer & wine, which is perfect for enjoying out on that side patio.
