WEST HOLLYWOOD— Whether you're getting a late start to the weekend or a strong believer in hair of the dog, Harlowe is doing Sundays right with its newly launched Sunday brunch. Think playful breakfast cocktails like Wakey, Wakey, combining bacon-infused Fighting Cock 6 Year Bourbon, Cynar, maple syrup, egg, and coffee dust; and Coffee is for Closers, a take on Irish Coffee topping Teeling's Irish Whiskey and Stumptown coffee with Chartreuse whipped cream. Soak it up with dishes like sweet potato gnocchi with confit pork belly and pancakes with almond cream.
PASADENA— Tonight's tasting at Pasadena wine shop Everson Royce includes a flight of three wines for $15 served with Bread Bar bread and artisanal cheeses. The Heirloom LA truck will be outside serving up a tribute to Bobby Flay with dishes like Sweet and Spicy Santa Barbara Shrimp with queso fresco polenta and guajillo sauce and Pastrami Nachos with chorizo goat cheese queso fundido.
WEST HOLLYWOOD— Foie gras has returned to STK LA. The once ever-so-popular dish before the ban is back in action, and is comprised of Hudson Valley foie gras, brioche, asian pear, and Pedro Ximenez gastrique. The foie will be offered as a supplement to STK's Valentine's Day menu.
DENVER— LA-born Wurstküche is bringing its sausages and brews to Denver.
