Tione's on Main Launches Two-Week Lunch Pop-Up in Downtown

Christian Page is rocking the NY Italian deli in the heart of L.A.

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Christian Page knew it was the right time when he found the old Dr. J's Vibrant Cafe. Dubbed Tione's on Main after his nickname, Page officially launches a two-week run starting today from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday to Friday, to test his New York-style Italian deli on one of the busiest restaurant corners in Los Angeles. The full menu is available exclusively below.

Why just two weeks? Page is still waiting on the full liquor license to come through, so he's launching the sandwich and pasta-heavy concept to Downtown denizens. Consider the rather epic Bogie, loaded with salame, coppa, provolone, salami, and house giardiniera on a sesame seeded hoagie roll. Or the carbonara, mixing sugar snap peas, pea tendrils, and bacon into an egg-laden black pepper spaghetti. Locals needing a coffee kick an also indulge in some Verve, which also happens to have a brand new cafe a few blocks away.

UPDATE late 2015: Tione's on Main no longer open.
