The macaron movement is not dead; at least not in the Valley. ‘Lette Macarons, the artistically-designed, independently owned French sweets shop with existing outlets in Larchmont and Little Tokyo (among others) just landed at the Westfield Fashion Square in Sherman Oaks.
A tipster first noted the first floor location over the weekend, which is more of a standalone kiosk than a full-on storefront. Still, it’s a full build-out, with the usual colorful display and pared down, white aesthetic.
As with other ‘Lette Macaron stops, customizable boxes of various macarons are available for quick take away, or as larger party packs that can be ordered in advance. Is the Valley finally ready for their own dedicated daily macaron kiosk inside of a mall? Probably.
