STAR WATCH— With his big fight against Manny Pacquiao coming up on May 2, Floyd Mayweather Jr. is paying special attention to his diet. Luckily for Mayweather, he has his favorite personal chef, Quiana Jeffries, by his side. Jeffries allegedly charges $1,000 a plate, and has been keeping him on a protein-rich diet. DOWNTOWN— Construction on Pawn Stars' Pawn Plaza is well underway, with the first level of Xtreme Cubes dropped off just yesterday. 72 colorful cubes will be used to create 36 structures, including Rick's Rollin' Smoke Barbeque.
THE STRIP— Rumors having been swirling about the closure of Comme Ça in the Cosmopolitain for quite some time now. The rumors turn out to be completely founded, as the restaurant first opened by David Myers will shutter on March 31. This isn't good news for the restaurant concept, whose flagship LA outlet has been closed for "remodel" since last June. It may be time to bid the Comme Ça brand adieu.
THE STRIP— Paris Las Vegas has a gaudy new bar to call its own. Check out the new lobby bar, Le Central, cholk full of chandeliers and fake French façades.
