The arrival of Travel Channel's Man Finds Food is finally about to land on TV screens everywhere, after something of a false start. Hosted be the once famously gluttonous Adam Richman (who has since thinned considerably), the destination eating series looks at unique dishes and off-menu items across America.
The first episode makes a strong case for Los Angeles as more than just a city running red with beet juice and board shorts. Richman downs grilled cheese at Greenspan's, heads to Alhambra for secret fusion burritos and, in the video above, dives into the off-menu burger at popular Thai spot Jitlada.
These days, it's a not-so-secret place (or menu item), but it's still fun to watch Richman needle some kids in the parking lot about having never eaten at one of L.A.'s most revered Thai spots.
