Joan's On Third is Almost Ready for its Santa Monica Debut

While there’s been talk of a Joan’s on Third coming to Santa Monica since at least last summer, news has been slow to develop since then. That’s mostly because Ocean Avenue South, the mixed-use development a block from the ocean set to house the all-day eatery, was still being built.

Well, things are coming together now, both with construction and the incoming restaurants themselves (Ocean Avenue South will also house a Brian Malarkey Searsucker, and a Starbucks Evenings concept). So much so, Joan’s just posted a Craigslist ad looking for a controller to oversee all bookkeeping needs for the space.

There’s no timetable given within the post, but if they’re hiring away now there can’t be much time left. Feel like submitting your bookish self for the position? Fire away!
