Kevin Bludso's 50th Birthday Party at Bludso's Bar & Que, Now Boarding Celebrates Mad Men Premiere

FAIRFAX— Kevin Bludso is turning 50, and is throwing a birthday bash at the La Brea location tomorrow, Friday, March 27 to celebrate. The barbeque maven's big day coincides with Bludso's Bar & Que's second anniversary, so lots of merriment can be had from 9:30 p.m. on, when the restaurant will offer Kevin's favorite drink, Hennessy, for $3.

WEST HOLLYWOOD— There's no doubt Mad Men provided some serious inspiration when it came to Now Boarding's design. The cocktail lounge will be celebrating the show's final season premiere by hosting a viewing party on Sunday, April 5. Enjoy a live jazz band all night long, taking a break of course for the 9 p.m. to 10 p.m. show, and sip on cocktails like the Draper, with Rittenhouse Rye, Amaro Nonino, and bitters; or the Cooper, with crème de menthe, crème de cacao, and cream.

BEVERLY GROVE— Head barman of a.o.c. and Lucques Christiaan Röllich is bringing a new batch of spring cocktails to the Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne restaurants. Highlights include the Leaf & Spear, with kale-infused rum, parsley, cumin, lime, and cilantro at a.o.c.; and the Spanish Sun, with gin, sunflower liqueur, kumquats, lime, and sherry at Lucques.
