Larchmont Deli Shutters in Favor of Lilly's Larchmont Cafe

Larchmont lost a longtime sandwich maker recently, though not many seem to have noticed it’s departure. The sad news out of the ritzy neighborhood concerns Larchmont Deli, which sat just off the main drag on busier Beverly Boulevard. A staple in the neighborhood for more than a decade, the no-frills option sported a Greek menu and offered casual takeaway lunch service.

In its place is Lilly’s Larchmont Cafe, a more breakfast-y joint with some South Florida leanings. Guests can tuck into all-day omelettes and coffee, or stick around for a quick sandwich and pastry. The look inside has been given a colorful uptick, but the simple cafe appeal is still alive and well.

Lilly’s Larchmont Cafe is open for breakfast and lunch from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday.
