Wine Rave Returns to Honeycut Tomorrow, Acabar Goes Crazy for Absinthe

And Magnolia House launches Neighborhood Hour.

DOWNTOWN— Wine Rave is heading back to Honeycut tomorrow, March 5 at 10 p.m. Tickets will be available at the door for $20 and include unlimited wine shots, or ball out and get the most affordable bottle service in LA for $30. Prepare yourself for a lot of glow sticks and awesomely weird behavior.

WEST HOLLYWOOD— Acabar is serving up new absinthe cocktail specials starting tomorrow, March 5 through Saturday, March 28. Libations include classic cocktails like the Sazerac, and originals like the Mean Green Fairy with absinthe, pineapple juice, mint, lime, strawberry, and ginger beer. Grab ‘em at happy hour from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for 7 bucks.

PASADENA— As Besha Rodell explains in LA Weekly's new 99 Essential Restaurants, LA is all about neighborhood eateries. Magnolia House is embracing this concept with the launch of Neighborhood Hour every Monday through Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Sip $7 cocktail specials alongside dishes like drunken nachos and crunchy Ahi tacos.
