Ben Ford had a rough day yesterday. The well-known chef, who spent years in downtown Culver City before moving his popular Ford’s Filling Station into the JW Marriott at L.A. Live, apparently suffered a scare when his famous septuagenarian father was forced to crash land a vintage single-engine plane onto a golf course in Venice.
The chef’s father Harrison Ford (aka Han Solo, Indiana Jones, et al) was described by Ford in a series of tweets as "battered but OK" following the concerning situation. He later remarked on his father’s strength and the positive vibes being sent towards his family.
At the hospital. Dad is ok. Battered, but ok! He is every bit the man you would think he is. He is an incredibly strong man.
