St. Patrick Swayze Day at The Greyhound Bar & Grill, Burger Lounge Exands to Marina Del Rey

HIGHLAND PARK— Not a fan of green beer and shamrock-shaped specials on St. Patrick's Day? Highland Park's The Greyhound Bar & Grill is forgoing tradition with its St. Patrick Swayze Day celebration. On March 17 from 12 p.m. to 1 a.m. the restaurant will be showing Patrick Swayze movies and serving up $4 Moylan's beer and $4 shots or Irish whiskey.

MARINA DEL REY— In the course of a few years, Burger Lounge has expanded across LA with locations in Beverly Hills, Brentwood, Larchmont, Santa Monica, and West Hollywood. Well the Westside will get another outlet of the fast casual burger joint, with signage already up at Marina Marketplace.

SAN GABRIEL VALLEY— Well, mainly. Serious Eats dropped a map of the best dumplings in Los Angeles. Notable restaurants include Chengdu Taste, Din Tai Fung, Elite, and, outside of the SGV, Pine & Crane.

KOREATOWN— The seventh annual Young Literati Toast supporting the Los Angeles Public Library will be held on Sunday, March 28 at The Line Hotel. Don a pair of nerd glasses and enjoy an uber sophisticated evening curated by the likes of Roy Choi and Kate Hudson with honorary hosts Moby and Gia Coppola. Tickets are $175 a person, and can be purchased here.
