Several months in the making, it looks like The Heights Deli & Bottle Shop has finally arrived in Lincoln Heights. Part deli, part craft beer bottle shop, the colorful storefront soft opened today after initially coming to light last month.

A concept from the Xlixe Pizza team, The Heights aims to be a casual takeaway option for the quickly gentrifying neighborhood. Formerly the home of La Chapalita, the new space was quickly snatched up by Lincoln Heights resident and Xlixe owner Vanessa Baek.

After some serious modifications, the sunny new stop is ready to roll, offering 300+ craft beer bottles for takeaway plus sandwiches, wine and snacks. Many of the sandwiches take their inspiration from the surrounding neighborhood, like the namesake The Heights, a take on an Italian sandwich lined with Genoa salami, mortadella, capicola and more.

The Heights sits at 2927 N. Broadway in Lincoln Heights, and is open seven days a week. Hours run 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
