Less than a year into service, Brilliantshine will likely shutter because of a investor-partner fallout. Just yesterday, a sneaky real estate broker email blasted out a very obvious photo of the Santa Monica eatery's patio (plus the address), which offered a strong hint that the Julian Cox and Josh Goldman run cocktail spot and restaurant was going to be closing. Well today, the team confirms the unfortunate news.

The prime 2,700 square foot space has a full 47 license and a mere $14,000 gross monthly rent, along with a rather rare 2 a.m. closure time in Santa Monica. The Cox and Goldman passion project is hoping to find another location, but the place will remain open for another few weeks until a buyer is found. Dinner and brunch service will continue until further notice.

Before Brilliantshine took over and remodeled the place, it was longtime dive Renee's Courtyard.
