Go Get Em Tiger, one of the most creative and forward-thinking coffee shops in the city, and perhaps the country, is opening with a sweet pop-up operation at Silver Lake's former Lucky Duck along Hyperion starting this weekend.
Owners Kyle Glanville and Charles Babinski (who just landed second place at the World Barista Competition) confirmed that they'll be running a pop-up shop from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily, with more food offerings as the weeks go by since the space is outfitted with a full kitchen. Already the GGET in Larchmont has a growing list of things to eat, but this larger location in Silver Lake should afford the team some opportunities to up the menu.
No word on when the pop-up will end, but it should come around the time that GGET's Los Feliz location, right next to Bar Covell, finally opens its doors, which is around mid-summer. The team didn't see the need to have two places so close to each other. However, Eastside denizens might have something different to say about that.
Soft opening commences tomorrow, with a full opening on Monday, April 20.
