Lemonade's Casual Cafeteria Debuts in Sawtelle

Well, it looks like the former Clusi Batusi space on Sawtelle has been fully flipped into yet another Lemonade. The all day healthy food buffet concept has been doing gangbusters in recent years, and combined with the powerhouse that is Sawtelle Japantown, it’s hard not seeing this one work out well for all parties involved.

When this spot first came up, words was that a beer and wine license would be in the works, but the only licensed ABC for the address belonged to Clusi Batusi, and has been cancelled.

Still, Lemonade is keeping those all day hours and that sunny, yellow-tinted design disposition of theirs, complete with curved walls and lots of gleaming tile. Along with some small seating inside, there’s a sidewalk patio out front, right on Sawtelle.

Lemonade Sawtelle is now open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
