Bloomingdale's recently launched a campaign with seven guys they think reflect the style of the City of Angels. On the list: the founder of TOMS, curator of LACMA, and none other than Roy Choi himself.

Choi is all smiles in the campaign, a nice break from the usual disgruntled pose adopted by most chefs in their headshots. The Kogi founder's style is described as "streetwear-inspired [...] rife with understated graphics and a smooth, easy-going attitude."

In an amusing culinary analogy, Choi calls his style mirepoix (the classic foundation of celery, onions, and carrots) "creased jeans, a white tee, gold chain, baseball cap, [and] tennis shoes. Check out this link to cop Roy Choi's look.
