BEVERLY HILLS— Fried chicken night is back with full force at Bouchon. The famed Ad Hoc recipe will be available this coming Monday, April 6 and Monday, April 20. The buttermilk fried chicken is served with seasonal accompaniments, and is offered for $38.
MID-CITY— Mid-City dwellers craving for some stellar Vietnamese cuisine, rejoice! Popular Highland Park restaurant Good Girl Dinette will be bringing its best hits to a pop-up at Bloom Café on Pico this month. Starting next Friday, April 10 from 5 to 10 p.m., score chef/owner Diep Tran's chicken pho, crispy imperial rolls, and oyster mushroom banh mi. If all goes well, more permanent digs will be on the radar. Then again, there's always the new Nong La on La Brea.
SANTA MONICA— Spanish specialist Bar Pintxo will be embracing the seafood tradition of a meat-free feast this Good Friday. The star of the show will be the arros negro paella made with calamari, shrimp, squid ink, and aioli.
