It looks like Amy Knoll Fraser’s long-awaited ICDC dessert and coffee shop is finally here. Or rather, it will be here, come tomorrow at noon.
The diminutive build-out alongside Amy and Neal Fraser's popular brunch spot bld in Beverly seems to be done, and a few Craigslist postings from last month asking for barista help have all been answered. All that’s left now is to open the doors and let the sugar addicts in. A call to bld confirmed the opening, with hours starting tomorrow and running from noon to 9 p.m.
It’s been a long road for the Frasers when it comes to Amy's ICDC dream. The acronymous destination, which stands for Ice Cream Doughnuts Coffee, has been a focus of theirs for years now, but with other big-name projects like downtown's Vibiana, the opening date for their dessert shop became, for a time, less of a priority. When ICDC finally opens tomorrow, look for expert delicacies from pastry chef Mariah Swan, plus coffee from Australia roaster Vittoria Coffee.
