SANTA MONICA— Ox & Son is getting in on the brunch game beginning this Saturday, May 2 with a menu filled with elevated takes on comfort fare and boozy libations. Menu highlights include the Ox & Son benedict with shaved Benton's ham, kimchi white cheddar omelet, and chocolate bacon bourbon pancakes.
LOS FELIZ— From May 4 to 10, Harvard & Stone will transform it's back R&D bar into Bar Ilegal, the LA outpost of Ilegal Mezcal's Café No Se. Sip on a variety of mezcals and cocktails that come by way of guest bartenders like John Rexer (Ilegal Mezcal) and Gilbert Marquez (Tacoteca). Late night bites will be provided by Guelaguetza.
CALABASAS— Saddle Peak Lodge is bringing back live music on the patio starting Friday May 8 and continuing select Fridays nights through Labor Day. Performances start at 6 p.m., with a happy hour menu available outside from 5 to 9 p.m. with $6 wine and $4 beer specials. Reservations required.
