Hard rock, hamburgers and hair metal bands. It’s a tale as old as time the 1980’s. And for one evening only, you can relive the glory of those years without paying a cent.
The promotion hits on Tax Day (if you didn’t already know, that’s April 15; better get on it) at the actual Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., anyone who chooses to brave the on-site stage for a bit of impromptu karaoke will earn a free hamburger for their troubles. Which is all fine and good because, well, free hamburger.
But the real reason for making the awful trip to the Hard Rock Cafe is to see longtime Poison frontman and bandana investor Bret Michaels do a short set to kick off the singing party. (No word on whether he’ll earn a free hamburger for his crooning).
So, to recap: Poison lead singer Bret Michaels will be at the Hard Rock Cafe for two hours, and if you show up and sing in front of him you get a hamburger. Pretty straightforward, really.
The Tax Day promotion is only good on April 15, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
