Sweetgreen and Belcampo Coming Into Shape on West Third

Plus Verve Coffee Roasters will take over this brand new building.

Matthew Kang is the Lead Editor of Eater LA. He has covered dining, restaurants, food culture, and nightlife in Los Angeles since 2008. He's the host of K-Town, a YouTube series covering Korean food in America, and has been featured in Netflix's Street Food show.

Just earlier today came the announcement that Verve Coffee Roasters would be opening three locations this year in LA. Turns out they're opening alongside East Coast salad specialist sweetgreen, plus another outlet of Belcampo Meat Co. Inside, construction is will under way, though the finishes probably won't be going into place for another few months. Both sweetgreen and Verve have already broken ground, but Belcampo is still a cold shell at this point.

This little corner will house three of the hottest concepts in LA, though parking will invariably be on an issue on this bustling corner. Take a look around the slick edifice and get excited. One has to love sweetgreen's appeal for quality employees: "find your passion X purpose."
