LA Restaurant Owner Goes Absolutely Bonkers In Response to Bad Online Review

Well that’s certainly no way to talk to a lady.

According to ABC7 News, one clubby restaurant situated just outside Los Angeles is learning about proper etiquette the hard way today, after getting hammered online for a particularly nasty response to a one-star review. In the wordy diatribe, restaurant ownership asked in no uncertain terms that, among other things, the former customer consider killing themselves for the good of humanity. Talk about chivalry being dead.

In a further display of not putting a jacket over a puddle to protect a woman’s shoes, the offending restaurant — a strip mall outfit in Thousand Oaks called Sunset Terrace — called the woman an "Ignorant, Disgusting, Miserable, Lying Filthy C**t Pig". The word capitalization, and the very un-Shakespearean language, is all theirs.

As for you poor embattled boyfriend Erik, please, please, please have the common decency to kill yourself before you burden him with a half Shit child.

Tyrone, one of the owners at the Sunset Terrace and the man behind the comments, says today in an updated statement that, well, he meant to send the response only to Brooke, the customer, but still has his internet training wheels on and inadvertently posted the missive to the restaurant’s own Facebook page.

Not that he’s apologizing. Instead, Tryone doubled-down on his lack of decorum while outlining the offending incident, which apparently involved an irate customer (that’s Brooke) berating a bartender over a miscommunication with a menu. According to him, the woman and her boyfriend then attempted to extort the restaurant with threats of bad reviews if they weren’t comped for future meals. The restaurant declined, the customer went ahead with her threat with a bad review, and then people starting using their potty mouths to talk to each other online.

Maybe nobody comes out of this one looking particularly good.
